4 Simple Morning Habits to Optimize Your Day

Do you have a morning routine?

Having a morning routine that aligns you with your best self can be paramount to living a life of fulfillment and clarity.

If you're like most modern people, you may spend your morning hitting snooze, scrolling through social media, or heading straight for the coffee pot.

What would happen if you took a different, more intentional approach to your morning?

What if you decided to start the first hour of your day with a decision to calibrate yourself for joy, gratitude, clarity, and focus?

I can guarantee you there would be a lot less avoiding the day and a lot more excitement.

You would have much more energy and much less grogginess.

You would feel better about yourself - less anxiety, resistence, loathing, and avoidance and much more joy, passion, purpose, and self-love.

When we wake up and "react" to our day, we are at the whim of everyone and everything else that we may come into contact with. This takes away our power and leaves us feeling like we don't have any control over our lives.

What if this simple act of starting our day on OUR terms was the single most useful habit for setting yourself up for success?

The clients who work with me learn how to develop, integrate, and utilize these first moments of the day in a way that empowers them to live a life of greater fulfillment. They also learn how to modify their routines as they continue to change - as change you will when you start living in this way!

Here's a few simple things you can do to improve the way your morning goes:

1) Instead of laying around in bed scrolling, drink 20-32 ounces of water with a pinch of salt. This jumpstarts your brain and organs while replenishing your electrolytes, telling your body it's time to get started for the day.

2) Step outside and allow the natural light to hit your eyes and skin. Doing this will help regulate your sleeping patterns and stimulate a massive system of events in your human system including hormone regulation, circadian rhythm calibration, and elevated mood.

3) Take 25 deep breaths of fresh air in through your nose. This will also wake up your body and leave you feeling refreshed and oxygenated.

4) State, imagine, and FEEL 3 things you're grateful for. This will shift you into a state of love for life and the things and people that make your life meaningful.

There are endless possibilities for optimizing your day based on your specific needs, but these four activities are an excellent base.

Are you ready to learn how to start creating your own morning routine and impacting your day to day in a positive way?
